Rust Proofing
Lower Maintenance Cost
Carr Tech rust control services lower maintenance costs as your vehicles are protected from the harsh elements that cause corrosion. With years in the rust-proofing industry, you can trust our technician to give you the highest level of protection against corrosion.
Our Application Process
Based on years of experience in the rust proofing industry, Our technician has developed specialized products that are a unique blend of chemicals that penetrate into hard to reach seams and crevices. This, in combination with our unique two step application process, allows us to spray the exterior trim, including door handles, mirrors, bumper rails, window trim as well as high traffic areas that need extra protection.
We believe that rust control should protect the entire vehicle, from the undercarriage, fenders, doors, door posts, hood, trunk all the way up to the roof line. We’ve established this total process because we know that rust is not selective. You can be assured that we will do everything possible to protect your vehicle. Most of all, your private resale value is increased.
How often should I have my vehicle sprayed?
In most cases, a vehicle will need to be treated with rust proofing annually. In some rare instances where a vehicle is subject to extreme environments/conditions, a more frequent schedule may be required. Please contact us to discuss your specific requirements in more detail.
Why Rust Control?
With the introduction of pre-emergent salts, rust has become an added cost of doing business for fleet operators. Automotive manufacturers have been successful in increasing the life span of their vehicles, but no one anticipated the impact of these next-generation salts. These new salts are able to stick to the vehicles longer and are more active at lower temperatures. As a result, equipment is experiencing severe body rot, parts failures and something new—wiring harness issues—all because of corrosion. Staying on top of corrosion issues can extend the life of the vehicles and equipment, reduce repair costs and downtime, and project a clean, professional, rust-free image in the marketplace.
Our rust proofing system, in its simplicity, creates a barrier of protection for metals and neutralizes the harmful effects of salt and moisture. Our technician uses specialized products that are a unique blend of chemicals that penetrate into hard to reach seams and crevices. This, in combination with a unique two step application process, results in a superior rust control system.
Alternative rust proofing solutions such as tar, waxes and tackified oils, do not have the same penetrating abilities and therefore can leave whole areas of the vehicle left untreated. However, because our rust proofing system penetrates, we can ensure all areas of your vehicles are protected. Rust is not selective – moisture and salt will find their way into almost every area of a vehicle.
The products our technicians use …
- Protects metal surfaces, electrical wiring, and components from corrosion
- Displaces moisture and replaces it with a coating of protection
- Penetrates hard to reach areas such as crevasses, seams, and channels
- Defies gravity allowing the product to creep upwards, sideways, as well as downward
- Continues to creep, allowing it to re-coat and re-seal areas which become exposed
- Sprays over tar, wax, and other rust control products; if such products have cracked leaving the vehicle exposed, the product penetrates those areas, displaces the moisture, and reseals those areas
- Deters rodents and pests from chewing wires and destroying equipment
- Includes a two step process: A light oil that penetrates seams and is ideal for interior panels and hard to reach areas, and a drip-less oil taht offers extra protection in high traffic areas such as frame rails and wheel wells.
Answers to some Frequently Asked Questions:

No. We work with customers who have vehicles that are already showing signs of rust when we begin treating them.
